An inquest was being opened today into the death of a 61-year-old man who died in a three-vehicle road accident in Oxfordshire.
Roy Page, of Rossal Place, Milton Keynes, was declared dead at the scene of the crash which happened on the Bicester-Finmere road shortly after 1pm on Thursday.
The hearing was due to be held in Oxford this morning.
Mr Page, who was married and worked as a courier, had been travelling in an Astra van which was about to turn right towards Fringford.
The driver of an articulated lorry, which was involved in the collision, was treated for shock while the driver of the third vehicle, a Mercedes van, was taken to The Horton Hospital, Banbury, with minor injuries.
The road was closed for four and a half hours while an investigation was carried out and debris removed.
Police want to speak to the driver of a brown saloon car which was travelling towards Bicester at the time and had passed the Astra on the inside lane.
Officers said the motorist was not in trouble but may be able to help piece together how the accident happened.
