Banbury's ninth annual street organ festival raised nearly £2,500 on Saturday for St Mary's Church.
Shoppers and visitors were entertained by 26 organ grinders - some from as far away as Hartlepool, Preston, Chesterfield and Weston-super-Mare.
Sir Frank Davies, chairman of the church appeal fund, said: "It is marvellous that people come to Banbury to help raise money for such a good cause."
Festival organiser Geoff Todd said: "The organ grinders enjoy coming to Banbury, they are always made very welcome."
The money will help pay for the restoration of St Mary's and fund its conversion into a concert and exhibition centre as well as a place of worship.
