Thame Agricultural Show successfully transformed itself into Thame Countryside Show this year.
There were no cattle, sheep or goats because of the foot and mouth crisis.
But instead of calling off the show, the organisers decided to go ahead with a different emphasis.

The show rings for the farm animals were changed to become centres for country sports and country pursuits with hounds, falcons, fishing and shooting.
Craftsmen and women from all over the country showed their skills in the tents where food and country clothing was in abundance.
Show chairman John Ovens said: "This is a very different show. The countryside has suffered dramatically and we now have the curse of foot and mouth again.
"For the first time in over 30 years the show is going ahead without its agricultural heart."
The centrepiece of the day was a celebration of Thame Show from 1855-2001 with parades and the show going back to its roots in a ploughing match by the "Rusty Club", the Risborough & District Historical Farm Machinery Club.
Another club with an impressive display was the Thame Classic Motor Club showing vehicles from every decade of the last century including a rare Model T Ford Charabanc.
Thame's newest Indian takeaway, The Cardamom Tandoori, was giving away free health food in return for donations to the British Heart Foundation.
In the main ring, there was a falconry display, axe racing teams from Dorset, the band of the Dragoon Guards, terrier racing and daredevil motorcycle performances.
Show secretary Mike Howes said: "It was a big decision to go ahead with the show and we hope that people will support us.
