Three men have denied throwing glasses during a fight in which a woman suffered serious eye injuries.
At Oxford Crown Court yesterday, Matthew Masih, 26, Martin Tarsam, 26, and his brother Nicholas Tarsam, 22, denied throwing glasses during a fight at the Cornucopia restaurant in Cowley Road, Oxford, on May 17, this year.
Martin Tarsam also denied he had thrown a glass that struck Gaynor Buck, 19, in the face.
Miss Buck suffered serious injuries that left the sight impaired in her left eye. She claimed she saw Martin Tarsam throw the glass at her.
Nigel Daly, prosecuting, said to Martin Tarsam: "You and your pals, including your brother, started throwing glasses around didn't you?". Tarsam replied: "No".
Nicholas Tarsam said he had walked away from trouble after a man kicked him and assaulted him while he lay on the ground.
Matthew Masih said Patrick Masih (no relation) asked him what he was doing behind the bar. Matthew Masih said he was trying to change the music . He said Patrick Masih, who he is alleged to have glassed, punched him.
Mr Daly said to Matthew Masih: "You were extremely angry, weren't you?" Masih replied: "I was angry but I wouldn't have glassed him."
Matthew Masih, of Phipps Road, Cowley, Oxford, denies unlawfully and maliciously wounding Patrick Masih with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
Martin Tarsam, of Swinburne Road, Oxford, denies unlawfully and maliciously causing Miss Buck grievous bodily harm with intent. Nicholas Tarsam, of the same address, denies one count of affray.
The case continues.
