Recreation facilities have been damaged by vandals in the latest setback to hit Bullcroft Park, in Wallingford.
Wood from the half-pip, a semi-circular structure which provides a safe area for skateboarders to perform stunts, was stripped away, leaving town council staff to pick up the pieces.
The damage comes after a tower forming part of the Bullcroft's new £70,000 play area, next to the Bullcroft Recreation Rooms, had to be moved to another section of the park in August because of rowdy behaviour.
Youths had been using it to hurl litter and verbal abuse over the adjoining fence of Rainbow Pre-school.
The move cost the council £1,300.
Town councillor Adrian Payne this week complained about the amount of litter strewn around the park since the schools went back.
Town Clerk Andrew Rogers said: "Unfortunately, the half-pipe is a prime target for vandalism.
"We are forever trying to paint out graffiti."
