Oxfordshire's big carp waters continue to produce the goods.
Cliff Kemp from Bedford came down for a 48-hour stint at St John's Lake, part of the Shimano Linear Complex at Stanton Harcourt, and caught two personal bests of 32lb 4ozs and 31lb 6ozs.
Both fish fell to particle baits and were part of a 20-fish catch.
Twelve-year-old Daniel Goodfellow, from Turnford, Herts, enjoyed some spectacular sport at Hardwick, which is also part of the Shimano Linear complex.
Fishing with salmon and caviar flavoured boilies, he caught a carp weighing 30lb and he also a pike weighing of the same.
Both fish came out on 15lb line attached to a size 6 hook.
Over at Orchid, a carp nicknamed Diana made an appearance at 31lb 4ozs for Mansfield angler Nev Taylor. He was fishing at 90 yards range with a 18mm boilie.
