GARY Woodburn, Chinnor's doughty prop, comes out of retirement for their tough South West 1 trip to Bridgwater and Albion on Saturday.
Woodburn called it a day at the end of last season and has since been concentrating on coaching.
But front row problems have led to the Scotsman being included in Chinnor's squad of 18.
With Tom Whelan nursing a back injury, Woodburn seems likely to start on the bench.
Ben Thompson, who is studying in Exeter, comes into the centre, with Jon Brooks reverting to wing.
Banbury Bulls entertain title favourites Broad Street at Bodicote Park in Midland 1.
They have received a boost with new signings Andy Noyce, the former Henley full back, ex-Moseley centre Chris Goodfellow, and prop James Stevens, from Worcester, all expected to make their home debuts.
After some impressive performances this season under new player-coach Matt Maudsley, Oxford Harlequins open their Southern Counties North programme at home to newly-relegated High Wycombe.
It will be interesting to see how Quins, who must be one of the favourites for the title, cope with a side who were playing in South West 2 last season.
Meanwhile, Henley, bottom of the National League 1 table and with a long injury list, have moved quickly to reinforce their pack.
The first move was to sign on loan Steve Cheeseborough, a young lock who has had two games in the Zurich Premiership for Saracens this season.
Hamish Innes will also be joining the club. An Australian, he gained two Blues at Cambridge in the late 90s.
Mike Turner, the 6ft 8in giant, has rejoined the club after a season or two in the lower leagues with Grove.
Back row cover is to be provided by Jeff Atkinson, who is coming from the Grade 1 club, Gordon, in New South Wales.
Of the newcomers, only Innes is included in the squad for tomorrow's trip to Otley.
Littlemore hope to be able to select from a full squad for their opening league match against Didcot, as new captain Darren Masey returns from holiday, and therefore extend their winning start to the season to three games.
Bicester travel to Bletchley in Berks, Bucks & Oxon Div 1, where they will be hoping to erase the memory of last weekend's 17-3 RFU Intermediate Cup exit at the hands of Stow-on-the-Wold.
