Skateboarders and BMX riders will be jumping and flipping in an old aircraft hangar next month.
Ramps and jumps are to be set up at Heyford Park, the former Upper Heyford airbase for young people on skateboard or BMX bikes on October 13 for an event being run by the Oxfordshire Playing Fields Association.
Keith Watson, chief executive of Heyford Park, said: "The organisers were looking for somewhere to hold the seminar coupled with facilities for skateboarding and BMX riding. We are offering one or possibly two hangars. Manufacturers will be bringing all the equipment."
But he warned that people wanting to ride or skate should go in family parties in a car because of the distance between the main gates and the hangars.
A charge of £1 a session is also being made.
