The sale of land for industrial development will boost west Oxfordshire's economy.
Oxford based estate agents FPDSavills has sold two parcels of land at Windrush Park in Witney.
A site of just over three and a half acres has been sold to Network Estates, which plans to build an industrial estate with freehold buildings ranging from 5,000 to 26,000 square feet.
Another two acres have been sold to Glenmore Investments to build smaller industrial units.
The agents have other parcels of land for sale, including 22 acres for industrial and business use with an asking price of £260,000 an acre.
Richard Venables, of FPDSavills, said: "This is less than a third of land costs within the Oxford conurbation.
"This offers a good opportunity to relocate business cost effectively in an area where there is an attractive range of housing for employers and their employees. The growth of Witney's population also provides an attractive source of labour which is becoming increasingly important."
The main occupier at Windrush Park is Abbott Laboratories, which has bought five acres for expansion.
FPDSavills has also recently acted for Stewart Milne Timber Supplies Limited to buy ten acres of land at Curbidge Park, Witney.
