Ryman League Division 3: Abingdon Tn 1, Ware 3
Manager Alan Thorne rang the changes on Saturday making four changes, but it made little difference as Abingdon Town slipped to another Ryman League Division 3 defeat.
Town's Paul Sherwood had two chances to score before new signing Neil Greig was only denied by a last-ditch tackle.
But, before then Abingdon had conceded a sloppy goal when Hagg sprung Town's offside trap in the 21st minute.
After 34 minutes things went from bad to worse for the home side when Edmunds put Ware further ahead.
After the interval, Abingdon tried to get back in the game but failed to make the breakthrough and it was no surprise when Ware added a third in the 74th minute.
Mick Torres first saved well from Hagg and then again at the feet of another Ware forward before Crouch netted.
Soon afterwards Town pulled a goal back when Sherwood netted his first goal of the season but it was too little, too late.
Town's disappointment was compounded when substitute Luke Beauchamp was stretchered off after a collision with keeper Johnson.
**Abingdon Tn: Torres, Hamilton, Burden, Muttock, Thomas, Care, Greig, Best (Morgan), Oram (Weekes-Pearson), Sherwood, Border (Beauchamp).
