The aftermath of the terrorist atrocity in America was the sole subject of a live television debate beamed from Thame Town Hall on Sunday.
The audience of It's Your Shout on ITV was made up of residents of the town and surrounding villages.
On the panel were Labour MP Ken Purchase, Liberal Democrat MP Dr Jenny Tonge and Baroness Peta Buscombe, the former member of South Oxfordshire District Council who is now a Conservative member of the House of Lords.
Contributors from the floor included Camille Jokumsen, who had just lost her job in sales management as a direct result of the US situation.
Other comments were made by former mayor Mike Le Mesurier and town councillor Andy Gunn. Tony Long from Thame Players, Cathy Gaulter-Carter from Thame Better Ways to School, television producer Margie Barbour and students from Lord Williams's School were among others speaking.
The show was presented by Michele Newman.
