Cherry Red Records Hellenic League : Carterton Tn 5, Cheltenham Saracens 0
In-form Carterton stormed up to second place in the Premier Division by hitting five past Saracens.
Sixteen-year-old Ben Banks made his goalkeeping debut for Town and kept a clean sheet, while Betteridge in the Cheltenham goal had his work cut out.
Betteridge made save after save until skipper Nathan Woodley headed Town in front, and the breakthrough was followed quickly by a Scott Taylor thunderbolt to make it 2-0 at half-time.
Carterton dominated throughout and further goals by Andy Henry, John McMahon and Kevin Lewis wrapped up the points.
