Mark Wright admitted he saw something from Manny Omoyinmi that he wasn't sure was there as Oxford United continued their unbeaten run with a hard-fought 1-1 draw at Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
Omoyinmi, making only his second start of the season, filled the void caused by Andy Scott's hamstring injury by scoring the U's goal at the Memorial Stadium - just 58 seconds into the match.
The former West Ham forward was lively throughout, almost scoring a second at the start of the second half with a left-foot drive after some good skill.
United boss Wright said: "Manny had a relatively good game, fits and starts, but he's getting more productive for us. We've had lots of bits and pieces around their box but not the end product.
"But overall, we've got to be happy. To come away from our last three games and say we've only conceded one goal and have got five points, we've got to be delighted with that."
