Transaction Ltd, a haulage company based at Long Crendon, near Thame, has become a member of PalletFORCE, a new national pallet and goods distribution network.
The company has invested in becoming a founder member of the PalletFORCE network, enabling it to collect pallets from customers throughout the region for nightly transfer to a national distribution centre at Litchfield, Staffordshire, for delivery beyond the region.
Pallets are then distributed by other members of the group and delivered throughout the UK, while vehicles return each night from the centre with pallets from other members, for distribution locally.
PalletFORCE claims that the network saves money, fuel and drivers' time and vehicles are well-used while goods can be delivered reliably and on time.
PalletFORCE chief executive, Mick Scarlett, said: "We are delighted that Transaction Ltd has joined the network.
"Our objective has been to only invite specialist hauliers into the group who can offer the high levels of customer service we demand.
"We have an elite group of some 40 members who can provide a unique solution to moving palleted goods rapidly and economically through the UK and Eire."
The vehicles will gradually be painted with a new orange PalletFORCE logo.
