Oxford City will parade new signing Paul Woodhouse when they travel to Northwood in Ryman League Division 1 tonight (Tues).
He had been at Maidenhead United, having been released by Nationwide Division 2 side Brentford in the summer.
Paul Lee's team need a confidence-boosting win ahead of their difficult FA Cup trip to Tiverton on Saturday.
Lee, who is going to watch the Devon side tomorrow against Methyr Tydfil, said: "Northwood have a lad up front called Yaku who scored 50 goals for them last season so he will be a danger. They are a good side."
City are again without midfielder David Billington, though Steve Arkins is back after suspension.
