Actress Susan George, fresh from playing Margaret in EastEnders, put in an appearance at Bicester Village to open a vibrant catwalk show.
Stunning new-season collections that lit up the drizzly day included autumn and winter fashions from Escada, Oscar Jacobson and Blazer.
Supporting the show was English perfume-maker Penhaligon, whose gifts to VIP customers and guests visiting the outlet shopping village sent them home smelling of roses.
Susan George's favourite fashion pieces included a collection in powder blue, warm orange, hot pink and soft lilac.
She said: "One thing I really do love is the combination of textures the designers have used here. Wool against silk, leather with lace - just gorgeous."
She added: "I think that when women are shopping for clothes, the service they receive is very important.
"Bicester Village makes couture affordable for more people, but women still need to be pampered - shopping for beautiful clothes is a real treat."
