A blue plaque will be unveiled at the former home of Oxford marmalade maker Sarah Cooper.
The accolade will be the first to be sponsored by the Oxfordshire Blue Plaque Board.
Hugo Brunner, Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire and chairman of the board, will perform the honours at 83 High Street on Wednesday.
Mrs Cooper made her first pot at the house in 1874, and her husband, Frank, marketed it.
Frank Cooper's Oxford Marmalade is now sold across the world.
