Business leaders are to lobby on transport, planning and business crime next year.

The priorities were agreed by the Oxfordshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Chairman John Nash said: "Our priorities are set out in this plan and we will be approaching various organisations and pressing them on delivery."

Issues the chamber will support include the development of an Oxford to Cambridge rail route and the relocation of Oxford station to Oxpens.

It will also oppose the introduction of more parking charges.

Other demands include improvements to the planning system to encourage business growth and increases in the number of affordable houses in the county.

On crime, the chamber is calling for extra officers and urging Thames Valley Police to raise the profile of business crime.
