Greg Auger had a field day with six goals as Finmere stormed to an 11-2 home win over King's Sutton in Group H of the Dave Wood Cup, writes DAVID GREGORY.
Brynn East hit a hat trick, with Jimmy East and Dave Stewart completing the rout to take Finmere to the brink of the semi-finals.
In Group F, Bakels Crusaders kept their slender hopes of qualification alive by defeating Charlton 3-2.
Dave Carson (2) and Craig Anderson netted for Crusaders, with Kerry Willis and Dave George replying.
In the George Reynolds Cup, Hethe booked their place in the semi-finals by coming from behind to beat Chasewell Park SC 2-1.
Chasewell took the lead early in the second half, but Hethe got back on terms thanks to a Neil Long strike.
Derek Blewett got the winner in the last five minutes.
In the Group C of the Charlie Rawlings Cup, Heyford Athletic surrendered a two-goal lead in a 2-2 draw at Wroxton Sports.
Kevin Hicks and Danny Post were the Heyford marksmen.
