Teenagers in danger of losing their youth club are appealing to town councillors for help.
They want them to stop the closure or find a new base.
Thame Youth Centre, on the Lord Williams's Lower School site in Towersey Road, is being closed by Oxfordshire County Council because the space is needed by the school.
The county youth service says youth work in Thame will be better targeted and does not need the centre.
But children who use the club disagree. They have sent a petition to town councillors asking for support to keep the centre open.
The council will discuss the issue at a future meeting.
The county youth service declined to comment.
