Artist Hannah Vickers created a work good enough to eat for the Didcot Youth Art Exhibition.
Her striking 5ft-long, three-dimensional re-creation of a bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk chocolate, with part of the wrapper torn away, was constructed from painted fabric and cardboard.
The work won her the Art 2001 Award, presented by the Mayor of Didcot, Cllr Jeremy Goff.
The 30 exhibits by young people aged from 13 to 19 demonstrated a range of techniques, mostly nurtured in the art departments of Didcot Girls' School and St Birinus Boys' School.
Elizabeth Spencer won the under-15s section with a photograph called Sunset Over Helmsley, and Helen Helsby won the over-17s class with a painting, Bud and Rose.
The exhibition at Didcot Civic Hall runs until 2.30pm on October 17.
