Kidlington will become part of the US of A this week when Oklahoma! is staged by the amateur operatic society.
The Rodgers and Hammerstein musical is one of the most successful ever written and the group plans to do it justice.
Producer Peggy Braybrooke said there will be several new faces on stage, directed by Fred Pargeter.
The music is in the hands of Paul Ingram.
The society produces a Christmas Carol concert for charity and a choral concert as well as a musical show every year.
The production of Oklahoma! at Gosford Hill School will be staged four times between tonight and Saturday.
