Young people in Oxford are being given the chance to pursue a range of peace activities during the half-term break.
As an antidote to the Afghanistan conflict, they are invited to get together to experience and explore peace at The Friends' Meeting House in St Giles.
The day's programme is being arranged by the Oxford for Peace movement, which recently re-formed to campaign against the American and British military response to the recent terrorist atrocities in the United States.
Events include drums and dancing, food and face-painting, singing and a selection of stalls.
Youngsters can also write their own message on a 'peace wall'.
