Striker Mark Simms has rejoined Abingdon United from Thame United, and goes straight into their squad for the tie at Sussex League Division 1 basement boys Saltdean.
Meanwhile, Abingdon boss Nobby Hayward has brought in much-travelled striker Steve Jenkins as his assistant.
Jenkins, who was with Banbury United last season, takes over from Steve Morton who died last month.
A coach for supporters going to the Saltdean game leaves Northcourt Road at 10.30am.
