Police want to trace a man who disappeared from the scene of a crash in which another man received serious head injuries.
The accident happened in Jubilee Way, Didcot, at the junction with Hagbourne Road, shortly before 1am on Sunday, when a G-registered, gold-coloured Vauxhall Cavalier veered off the road.
The car was travelling towards Didcot from New Road, East Hagbourne, when it skidded and hit a lamp post. The rear of the car hit a brick wall and spun round. No other vehicle was involved.
Thames Valley Police said a 27-year-old man in the car was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, with serious head injuries.
Police are still trying to trace a second man in the car.
Pc Andy Cranidge, of Abingdon traffic department, said: "We are appealing for anyone who saw the car, or who witnessed the collision, to contact Abingdon Police on 01235 556920, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111."
