New plans concerning Grand Prix riders shortly to be announced by the British Speedway Promoters Association threaten to tear apart Oxford Cheetahs' championship winning team.
With so many meetings having to be postponed because of the GP series, the BSPA are talking about limiting each club to one GP rider next season.
With Oxford boasting three riders, Leigh Adams, Todd Wiltshire and now Lukas Dryml in next year's expanded ten-meeting series, it could provide them with big problems.
Who would they drop if they have to? Whichever choice they make, it is sure to prove unpopular with the fans.
But something must be done to regain the continuity of regular speedway at Oxford on a Friday night.
Leigh Adams and Todd Wiltshire have their say in Pitstop on Page 44.
