Oxford Stadium are to consult with the local Owners Association and trainers over the best use of the extra ten per cent increase in prize money, announced last week.
The increase, due to take effect on January 1, is the second since the GRA took over the Stadium from the receivers in 1998.
The new scales announced last week see grades from A1 down to A6 getting extra cash, but not the lower graded A7-A9 Grades.
General manager Mick Hardy said: "Since last week's announcement, I am in consultation with the trainers and the Oxford Owners Association to get their ideas on how the extra money should be put to the best use."
