SPARTAN Rangers caused the biggest upset of the season when they blew away champions Brize Norton's unbeaten start with a 4-3 victory in the Premier Division, writes John Smyth.
Rangers raced into a 4-0 lead thanks to a hat-trick from Chris Hunt and a Kevin Mears strike.
Colin Tyrell pulled a goal back for Brize and substitute Paul Coles scored twice, but Rangers held on.
Enstone beat Stonesfield 2-0, courtesy of goals from Paul Allen and Neil Stringer.
Chadlington coasted to a 3-0 victory over North Leigh A, thanks to a brace from Anthony Akers and a Steve Jones strike.
Paul Morgan grabbed a hat-trick as Hanborough trounced a woeful Ducklington 5-0. Martin Lambourne and Duncan Griffin also netted.
A last-minute goal from sub Nick Hartley saw Division 1 leaders Kingham beat Charlbury 3-2.
Earlier, Charlbury had twice come from behind, with Steve Fitzgerald and Andy Woodley cancelling out Sean Thornton and Miles Harding's goals.
Freeland turned in a stunning second-half performance, hitting seven unanswered goals to defeat Tackley 9-2. Steve O' Hare scored a hat-trick, while Matthew Hardy bagged a brace.
Napier Rovers maintained their 100 per cent record with a 2-0 victory over Adelstrop, with Pete Cowling and Ben Woodruff finding the target.
Carterton Rangers beat Enstone Res 2-1, with goals from Danny Stephens and Lee Brooks. Martin Anson scored Enstone's consolation.
Hailey stay rooted at the foot of the table after a Dave Tolley goal gave Ducklington Res a 1-0 win.
