Wayne Dobbins' double strike set Bicester on the way to a 3-2 win over Hampshire side Trojans in the first round of the EHA Vase at the weekend.
Bicester's Martin Turbayne won a penalty in the first minute after being tripped by the keeper, but Paul Armstrong was off target.
However, Bicester opened their account in the 15th minute when Dobbins beat the keeper from the edge of the D.
Dobbins repeated the trick early in the second half.
Trojans got back in the game when they were awarded a debatable penalty.
But Bicester restored their two-goal cushion when Paul Armstrong turned a Dobbins shot in from a narrow angle.
Trojans reduced the deficit once again, but Bicester held on.
