Teams of three from schools and youth organisations in the Chipping Norton and Banbury area will be taking part in a Rotary-sponsored national competition to encourage public speaking.
They will be gathering at Tudor Hall School on Wednesday, November 14, to take part in the local heats of Youth Speaks, organised jointly by the Rotary Clubs of Chipping Norton and Banbury Cherwell.
At least four schools and the Air Training Corps from both Chipping Norton and Banbury will be competing for the trophies in both age groups.
Winners of the local heats will go on to the further rounds which culminate in the national finals in April next year.
