North Berks League round-up

Former Oxford City player Richard Peirson hit a hat-trick as Saxton Rovers recovered from two goals down to stun leaders Lambourn Sports 4-2 in Division 1, writes ANDY WELLS.

Derek Palfrey also netted for Rovers after Adrian Mooney had bagged a brace for Sports.

In Division 2, Steve Bateman hit six goals for the second time this season as Benson AFC walloped Warborough & Shillingford 9-2.

Their other goals came from Joe Flower, Charlie Selwood and an own goal.
