Visitors to Oxford's Cornmarket are about to get their first glimpse of the street's new paving.
A £2.2m improvement project is underway to re-pave the pedestrianised street, using York stone and granite slabs.
The first phase of work is expected to finish by the end of the week, and hoarding is being removed to show shoppers the new paving between George Street and Market Street.
Phase two will continue in the New Year until the Spring.
