STEVE Rapley's strike was enough to give Spartan Rangers a 1-0 win over North Leigh A in the day's only Premier Division game, writes JOHN SMYTH.
Carterton Town A maintained their 100 per cent record in Division 1, but were given a late fright by Ducklington Res before running out 4-3 winners.
The prolific Will Griffiths hit a hat-trick and Alex Walters also netted for Carterton in a goal-crazy 15-minute spell in the second half.
Ducklington stormed back with goals from Luke Finch, Martin Limmer and Dave Tolley, but they couldn't force an equaliser.
FC Mills made it three straight wins in Division 2 by beating Bampton Res 4-2.
Veteran centre back Duncan Sellman bagged a brace in the first half, and Simon Pepper followed his example after the break, before Bampton pulled two back through Ian Bilton and Alex O'Brien.
Hanborough Res pulled themselves off the foot of the table with a 2-0 victory over Stonesfield Res.
There was a goal in each half from Shaun Harris and Lewis Clark.
Leon Cox hit a four-timer for Ascott as they stunned Division 4 leaders FC Nomads Res 5-1.
Russell Hawtin added the fifth, while Mark Illingworth netted for Ascott.
Mark Hoddy had a field day with six goals as Witney Royals Res crushed bottom side Ducklington A 8-1.
Ian Hayes and Dan Jarvis completed Royals tally, with their former player David Leach providing the visitors consolation.
