Fifteen children from Chesterton Primary School joined hundreds from Oxfordshire to sing at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
The youngsters, aged between nine and 11, were among 500 children from the county who took part in the national schools' proms.
Chesterton headteacher Jane Moffatt said: "It's a big prestigious national event. The children have been rehearsing since the summer term."
The 500 children had managed to get together twice before the event for a big rehearsal, at the Sheldonian Theatre, in Oxford. At the performance in London on Tuesday, they sang five songs.
The event coincided with Chesterton school's performing arts week. On Monday performers from the English National Ballet held a workshop. The children will be going to see the ballet Cinderella at the Oxford Apollo this week.
Mrs Moffatt said: "It was quite an exciting venture for some of our boys."
