Problems faced by people over the age of 50 in Oxfordshire have been examined in a road safety video.
The video, entitled Older and Wiser, is the first of its kind nationally on the subject of road safety for older road users.
The film features Sir John Grimley Evans, Professor of Geratology at the Radcliffe Infirmary and Oxford University.
The county council's road safety team linked up with the county council's community education service to produce the video.
Janie Potter, an outreach worker with Oxfordshire County Council, said: "It's not just about making buses affordable and accessible to everyone.
"Making the video has made me so much more aware of the way travelling busy streets or country roads impacts on all our lives."
The road safety team is also appointing a network of tutors to run advice sessions for the over-50s.
County council chairman Charles Shouler is launching the video at County Hall tomorrow between 2pm and 4pm. The video can be purchased at the launch or by contacting Mandy Rigault on 01865 815657.
