A large toy parrot is helping staff at the HSBC bank in Carterton raise money for Children in Need.
The parrot was donated by a customer and forms part of a raffle with other prizes donated by other customers and staff for Children in Need day on Friday, November 16.
Staff will be asking people to guess the weight of a cake made in the shape of the appeal's mascot, Pudsey Bear.
The bank will donate one penny for every cash machine transaction. Manager Phil Wilkins is pictured, left, with the parrot.
