A bus driver who died in a mystery road accident near Chipping Norton has been named as Donald Leaver, aged 65, of Radnage in Buckinghamshire.
Mr Leaver, who worked for the Stagecoach company, was at the wheel of the empty bus and about to start a run when the single-decker left the Chipping Norton to Woodstock road on Thursday.
The bus hit a tree at the side of the A44 London Road near the Parker-Knoll factory at around 3.45pm.
Emergency services were alerted but found Mr Leaver dead at the scene.
An inquest into his death was opened and adjourned on Monday.
