A teenager has been charged with raping a 13-year-old girl in Abingdon.
The 16-year-old youth, from Abingdon, was bailed to appear before Didcot Youth Court on Friday, January 11.
The alleged victim was visiting friends in Abingdon on Friday. The offence is said to have taken place in an alleyway off West St Helen Street between 8.30-9pm.
The girl was found collapsed under the old County Hall and museum by a passer-by who called the emergency services.
The girl was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where she was detained for treatment until being allowed home yesterday.
