People across Oxfordshire have until January 11 to feed back their views and ideas on plans by the Learning and Skills Council to raise skill levels to world-class standards.
Two consultation events in Oxford were attended by 220 people from schools, colleges, learning providers, businesses and public bodies.
LSC executive director Lynda Purser said: "We gathered some very valuable feedback from people.
"The consultation comes to an end in January, when we will be collating the feedback.
"We will then be ready to launch our final strategic plan in March, which will contain our objectives and targets until 2005."
A copy of the Draft Strategic Plan can be found on the Internet at www.lsc.gov.uk/mkob or call Matthew Williams on 01235 556111.
