People who have made a New Year's resolution to change jobs are being offered advice on setting up their own business.
A series of Enterprise Days is being organised by local enterprise agencies Thames Business Advice Centre and Norbis.
Graeme Finch, chief executive of Business Link for Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, said: "If you've never set up your own business, it can be quite challenging to know where to start.
"These free seminars are particularly useful for people who want an overview of all the issues.
"Business Link offers a convenient and impartial route to expert advice and support on all aspects of starting and running a business."
The sessions will cover all the relevant and critical points to be considered when starting out in business, from writing a business plan through cashflow management to marketing and sales. They will also look at the pitfalls to avoid and advise on sources of funding and other business support services.
The enterprise days will be held weekly in Oxford starting on January 9, in Banbury monthly from January 18, and in Bicester quarterly from February 20.
