Staff at an Oxford hair salon swapped scissors and brushes for fancy dress over Christmas to raise £318 for a residential home.
Five hairdressers from Rumours Hair Design, Florence Park Road, Cowley, dressed up as children's TV characters, including Noddy and Andy Pandy, to raise money for Iffley House, Iffley Turn, Oxford. The hair salon also organised a fundraising raffle and collection.
Salon owner Sylvia Warn said: "We have been dressing up to raise funds for the home for the last 13 years because it is our nearest residential home and some of our clients have gone there.
Eileen Cacace, the administrator at Iffley House, said the money would go into the residents' amenity fund, which is used to subsidise parties and outings.
Mrs Cacace said: "The staff at Rumours are terrific and have helped raise a lot of money for the home in the past.
"We are very grateful for all their support."
Iffley House is one of the 19 residential care homes formerly run by Oxfordshire County Council that are now managed by the Oxfordshire Care Partnership.
