Abingdon started the New Year with a victory as they beat Supermarine 19-7 in a friendly at Lambrick Way.
Tries by winger Richard Yates and 18-year-old prop Carl Blewitt, plus a conversion from skipper Xavier Lecocq, put Abingdon 12-0 ahead at half-time.
The home side had to defend well at the start of the second half, but then sealed the result when open side flanker Tim Nash touched down for a try after a general melee on the line.
Lecocq added the conversion before Supermarine scored their consolation try.
Abingdon's Ian Bland Memorial against the Oxfordshire Fire Service, postponed on New Year's Day because of a frozen pitch, has been rearranged for Sunday, February 3 (2pm).
