Brisca Formula 1 stock car driver Jason Holden, from Radley, has qualified for the Thunderdome Live Action Arena at the NEC, Birmingham, as part of the Autosport International show from January 10-13.

Holden, 29, the Brisca Supreme Champion, said: "It's the second time I have qualified for this premier indoor race event and the team is looking forward to the challenge of competing at the NEC again."

The Autosport International show has already attracted F1 stars David Coulthard, Pedro De La Rosa and new Toyota team driver Allan McNish.

The British Eurosport Live Action Arena is the hub of the show's live entertainment.

The Caterham Wheel Change Challenge pits race fans against experienced Formula 1 crews to see how quickly they can change the wheels of a Caterham sportscar. A £1,000 prize of an extreme day's racing is on offer to the pair who record the fastest time.

The F1 Racing Grid offers exclusive access to the leading F1 teams' cars. Ferrari, McLaren, BAR, Prost and Jordan are just a few of the teams wheeling out their 2001 cars. It also offers the first close look at Toyota's new F1 car making its race debut this year.

The Motorsport News Live area promotes almost every form of motorsport. More than 200 cars, drivers and exhibitors are brought together by the major racing associations covering drag racing, minicross and super rods. Showgoers can compete in the SPARKS Celebrity Karting Challenge.
