A shoplifter convicted of possessing heroin was remanded for a report on drug treatment and testing.
David Archibald, 26, of Kibble Close, Didcot, had pleaded guilty to possessing heroin, and stealing a Karcher pressure washer from Halfords, Didcot, washing powder from the BP Garage, Didcot, and ten toothbrush heads, an electric toothbrush and three joints of beef from Tesco superstore, Didcot. He also admitted attempting to steal an iron from the Co-op supermarket, Didcot.
Kate McNab, defending, told Didcot magistrates he was being prescribed methadone, while awaiting the report.
