North Berks League
Paul Sheldon was in hot form, scoring five goals for East Hendred Res in their 8-1 thrashing of Challow Res in the first round of the North Berks League Cup.
Tom Atkins, Colin Fisher and Sean O'Neill were also on target, with Neil Smith netting for Challow.
In Division 1, Faringdon Town missed a last-minute penalty as they drew 1-1 with Harwell International.
Chris Benson gave Faringdon the lead before Darren Carter equalised.
Meanwhile, Kintbury Rangers enjoyed a 2-1 victory over East Hendred.
In Division 2, promotion-chasing Hanney United were a few minutes away from ending Coleshill United's unbeaten run before Lee Beaver levelled late on.
In Division 3, Grove Rangers won 5-1 at AFC Wallingford A to go second. Ian Gordon bagged a hat-trick, with other goals from Carl Leban and Brian Jezzard. Chris Allum replied.
Uffington United secured their first win of the season with a 5-1 home win over Lambourn Res. Paul Nelson (2), Steve Fisher, Brad Ritchie and Matthew Booker scored for Uffington.
In Division 4 revitalised Childrey Res leapt right back into promotion contention with a 6-1 win at Sutton Courtenay Res.
Jay Dutton scored a hat-trick, with Darren Makes netting a brace and Dennis Warburton grabbing the other. Nigel Hendy got Sutton's goal.
Benson Lions' promotion chances took a knock as they lost 2-1 at home to Grove Res. Leon McLoed scored for the Lions, with Paul Edwards and Barry Mulcock replying.
