The cost of bus tokens to Great Milton pensioners has doubled to £1,600 over the last two years and is one of the reasons the parish council is raising its precept -- the money it gets from South Oxfordshire District Council to run its affairs -- from £8,000 to £8,500 for the 2002-2003 tax year.
