More effort should be made to tackle vandalism and disorder in the Vale of White Horse, say residents.
About 1,500 people replied to a questionnaire on which issues should be addressed as part of a new safety in the community initiative.
More than 44,000 homes received the questionnaire. People were asked to list their top five concerns.
Bill Jones, the district council's community safety officer, will give a presentation on the findings at a meeting of the Wantage and Grove Area Forum, at Old Mill Hall, Grove, tonight at 7pm.
Vandalism and disorder were residents' top concerns. House burglaries came second, followed by alcohol and drugs, vehicle crime and road safety.
Mr Jones said: "They are issues the public say they want police and the councils to address."
Police are working with Oxfordshire County Council and the Vale of White Horse District Council to draw up a crime strategy for the area.
Mr Jones said the survey was part of the consultation process that would help form priorities for the new strategy, due to be launched in April.
