A brace from Adam Hamp helped Star Royal reach the last eight of the Sam Waters OFA Cup as they beat Kidmore End 3-1.
Despite still suffering from a number of injuries, Royal were in dominant form, with Hamp netting a double before they sealed victory midway through the second half.
Jason Maciak picked up the ball 35 yards out, looked up to find the keeper slightly off his line and lobbed him to perfection.
Kidmore continued to battle and reaped their reward with a consolation goal three minutes from the end.
Last year's finalists Six Bells Kidlington put in their best performance of the season by far as they beat Real Armas 3-1.
Armas had an axe to grind as they were ousted from the cup last year for not fielding a side against Bells.
And their hopes increased when Bells conceded home advantage to ensure the game was played.
However, Bells were on top form, and justifiably took the lead after 20 minutes when Lee Bolton made a surging run down the left and crossed for Paul Faulkner to slide in at the far post.
Bells continued to dominate but were made to wait until shortly into the second half to increase their advantage, when an inch-perfect free kick from Fraser Gills saw Jon Twiss fire home a bullet header.
Bells effectively sealed the tie when Bolton made a great run down the right before thundering a shot home.
Armas pulled one back late on and continued to press to the end, but Bells held firm for the victory.
Meanwhile, one of only six league games to take place saw Northway and Yarnton Village share the points in a 1-1 draw in Division 2.
Both sides had some early chances but Yarnton opened the scoring midway through the first half when a long range shot from David Twiddle deceived Northway's keeper.
Chances came and went at both ends, but Yarnton were creating the more clear-cut chances and were unlucky when they had a goal disallowed for offside.
They were made to pay for their misses when Simon Drewett volleyed home a cracking equaliser .
In Division 4, North Oxford Conservative Res went down 2-1 to Mansfield Road Res in a closely fought game.
Both sides had chances, but fine goalkeeping from both keepers kept a clean sheet for both sides in the first half.
However, two midfield errors early in the second half saw Mansfield Road take a two-goal lead through Phil Graham and Martin Nash.
Conservative Res fought back through Darren Day with a delightful glancing header from an Andy Wheeler cross.
Despite sustained pressure, Mansfield Road defended ably to secure all three points.
The league remind all referees that match report cards should be completed for every game and sent to Nick Baldwin. Certain trophies that are awarded are dependent upon these cards.
All current and former players of Star Wanderers should note that it is the team's 25th anniversary this year and they are holding a get-together at the Star pub on February 9.
