An Oxford artist has chosen a cafe as the setting for her debut exhibition.
Sarah O'Flanagan's collection of works in oils and acrylics is on display at Freud's Cafe, in Walton Street, Jericho, until Sunday, February 3.
The diverse collection of original works, ranging in price from £100 to £1,000, includes a large painting of vampires, set in a mosaic frame made from pieces of broken mirror.
Also on loan for the display are studies of Victorian paintings, which Miss O'Flanagan was commissioned to copy.
Miss O'Flanagan, 31, a classics graduate of King's College, London, paints in the evening when her four-year-old son has gone to bed.
She said: "I have always been interested in art, but most of the courses on offer at art college are based on conceptual, abstract art when I prefer more traditional work."
Miss O'Flanagan, who lives in Jericho, plans to enter some of her work in competitions this year and is keen to do more commissioned pieces.
