A former catering student at the Oxford College of Further Education cooked up a feast for students when she returned to her old college.

Rachel Freeman, of Recreation Wood in Woodstock, is now working as a demi chef de partie, specialising in fish dishes, at the Gary Rhodes Brasserie in Manchester.

But during a break from her duties Rachel was persuaded to demonstrate some of the mouthwatering -- and expensive -- Gary Rhodes speciality dishes to current students.

Rachel, 22, said that although she was enjoying being part of the modern food scene, she was happy to come back to Oxford.

She said: "I was really pleased to come back and give something to the students at the college. I enjoyed it once I got over my initial nervousness."
